In running a small business, there are a lot of things you have to consider in order to survive in this dog-eat world. Customer satisfaction is one of the most important measures that companies value because it reflects how you create your products and provide your services. That is why receiving sincere feedback or reviews is essential because they can either make you or break you.

There are a lot of ways to provide feedback to any company, but one great source of information about a certain product or service is Google. This is one of the current time’s encyclopedias where you can search about anything. Traditional sources such as newspapers, magazines, brochures, etc. are still existing but let’s accept it, they are not really as accessible and as convenient as non-traditional media. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, etc are now the go-to sources of information and entertainment. Internet browsers are evolving as well, from the old-school AOL to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and last but not least, Google Chrome.

And with these browsers, businesses most often than not build their own websites to reach more people easier and faster. One good thing about this especially when a business establishes its presence with Google is that it allows people to see their products more easily and they can read reviews right away. It allows people to provide feedback without using any social media accounts about a certain service or product they availed of. All you need to have is a Google account. And by saying Google account, it’s the email address that you also use in receiving and sending out messages; the email address that you use to register for a social media account; and many more of its usage.

So how does one leave a review on Google? Below is the step-by-step guide.

Using a desktop or laptop computer via Google Search:

  1. On your computer, open the Google browser.
  2. Search for the business name of the company.
  3. On the right side, you’ll see the business profile and from there, you’ll see the “Write a Review” button. Click it.
  4. Once clicked, a pop-up will show and will ask you to sign in to your Google Account.
  5. And finally, a form will show where you can rate using the stars, write a review and upload a photo related to their products.

Here at Giving Greens, we don’t require customers to give us a review every time they receive their orders. It is the customer’s prerogative to answer them. It is up to them if they are willing to share their thoughts about the products and services they received. We value their time and privacy.

Going to what was mentioned above, product/service reviews and feedback can make or break a business. So how does this benefit the business? Here’s a run-down of it:

  1. The company will be able to learn the needs and wants of their customers.
  2. It’ll be an essential part for product/service improvement.
  3. Boost credibility. And with good credibility, customers’ trust will increase as well.
  4. It’ll allow potential customers to weigh their options before deciding to fully use the service or purchase the product.
